Embraer names Arjan Meijer as chief commercial officer

Embraer has named Arjan Meijer as chief commercial officer, Embraer Commercial Aviation, reporting directly to John Slattery, President & CEO, Embraer Commercial Aviation.

“Since joining Embraer earlier in 2016, Meijer has already demonstrated strong values and leadership coupled with deep market knowledge, which will be key in his new role, supporting the teams leading our sales campaigns throughout the world,” said Slattery.

Prior to joining Embraer, in April 2016, Meijer spent 15 years at KLM on the engineering, technical services and fleet development aspects of the company. His last role was Managing Director of KLM UK Engineering Limited. Meijer has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and also holds an Executive MBA from Purdue University.
