EgyptAir Cargo launches first flight to Chad

EgyptAir Cargo has launched its first flight to N'Djamena, Chad carrying 40 tons of cargo as part of the company's strategy aiming at operating new air routes and boosting its position in the African market.

EgyptAir Cargo chairman Bassem Gohar said that enhancing the company's position in the Chadian market comes in tandem with the company's plan to offer the best services to its air cargo clients. 

Gohar added that the Cairo-based company had managed to enter the Chadian market after about a year of negotiations with the Chadian authorities concerned as well as after conducting several studies about the promising African market.
