Posted 21 July 2016 · Add Comment

A Beechcraft King Air aircraft arrived at St Helena Airport yesterday, operated by TAB Charters.

A team from Flight Calibration Services Limited (FCSL) were onboard in order to undertake routine calibration flights in connections with the airport’s navigation aids.

FCSL and Tab Charters carried out earlier calibration flights to the airport, with the most recent being in December.

A schedule has now been put in place for calibration flights to be carried out every six months to meet Airport Certification requirements.
